Direct Support Practitioner Training Workshop
A Direct Support Practitioner, as the name suggests, is an individual trained in supporting an individual with a disability through their day-to-day activities. In India, this kind of work is yet to attain the status of a formal profession but the Keystone Institute is working towards changing this. They organize trainings that impart tools and techniques for carefully instructing and guiding individuals who take on the role of a Direct Support Professional. Some of our team members had the opportunity to be formally trained as trainers.
